If acne is treated in a timely manner, it generally leaves no scarring because the skin tends to regenerate and naturally repair any previous skin damage. If, however, acne inflammation degenerates, lasts a long time, or is aggravated by infection, the skin is unable to replace the scarred areas, which will become pockmarked, with raised and hollowed patches visible on the epidermis.
The areas most prone to acne scarring are those that acne affects the most, namely the face, shoulders and presternal area. Obviously, scars are not symptoms of any pathology, but they can be a significant aesthetic concern, particularly as they begin to appear during adolescence and in young adults.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Indice

Description

Causes

Symptoms

Diagnosis

Treatment

Prevention

Description

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Acne scars are the permanent marks left on the skin by the remission of acne inflammation, including furuncles, cysts, and abscesses.
