How does the FORUM work?
The following are the main questions about the operation of the Dermaclub forum
1Is it a tool for receiving a dermatological diagnosis?
The forum is not a diagnostic tool but is useful to receive an insight into a dermatologic case or a second opinion according to the Dermaclub philosophy.
2When can I write my forum post?
The forum contains thousands of answers; before you post your question make sure the topic has not already been covered. You can do this through the "Search" item in the upper right corner.
3What information does the dermatologist need to understand my claim?
You need to explain the medical history of your case: where the lesion is located, how long it has been there, what you feel, what you have already done on it, what you have applied, etc...
If you have previously used medication, specify what medication and for how long you used it.
4Why attach images?
Images in dermatology are of great value in helping the dermatologist understand what it might be.
5What should the images look like?
The area to be photographed must be well lit from the front; it must be in focus. It must not be a cutout of a larger photo. NB: Attached images will be shared publicly on the forum for all to compare. Keep this in mind before uploading your photos.
6Can I interact with other users' posts?
No, the forum is not a group. Each response is individual, and you are not allowed to write on another user's post to receive your own response.
