Micropeeling to Treat Acne
07/09/2023Remedies for dry, cracked hands
07/09/2023Until a few years ago, it was common to perform peels with strong acids to improve the appearance of the skin by regenerating it after damaging it with acids. However, it was later discovered that the use of strong acids led to actual chemical burns on the skin, which ultimately caused more harm than improvement, making the skin hypersensitive and intolerant to the sun and cosmetics. DermaClub advises against facial chemical peels and instead recommends Micropeeling. Micropeeling also uses the same acids found in chemical peels but at a low concentration, so it does not cause skin damage. To ensure that Micropeeling works and regenerates the skin, the treatment should be performed every evening by the patient themselves, rather than by a doctor.
How to perform micropeeling treatment
In the evening, apply the micropeeling lotion, Glicosal Lotion, to the areas to be stimulated, usually the entire face except for the eyelid areas.
The skin should be free of makeup and dry.
To remove makeup and cleanse the skin, it is recommended to use the non-foaming Eudermic Cleansing Base.
This type of cleanser keeps the skin soft and ready to absorb the Micropeeling lotion.
Application
The lotion should be applied with a cotton pad soaked in the lotion itself. Usually, about ten drops are sufficient. To apply, drop the Glicosal Lotion onto the cotton pad, distributing it evenly across the pad rather than in one spot. Then, hold the pad from one side, press it gently onto the skin, and begin to rub in a circular motion on the face, avoiding the eyelid areas. This allows the lotion to be absorbed by the skin in just a few seconds. When the cotton pad is dry, the treatment is complete. Do not rinse the face or apply any other products. Avoid vigorous rubbing to prevent redness from friction. The following morning, the skin can be washed with just water from the tap. Do not apply moisturizer or cream-based cosmetics, as the ingredients in these products could interfere with the Micropeeling treatment performed the previous evening. Pure mineral makeup is allowed, but DermaClub recommends using mineral foundation like Argillina Skin Color and the compact powder Sun Clay, which are specifically designed not to penetrate the skin.
Micropeeling: results
The combination of two actions—Micropeeling and the avoidance of cosmetic creams or cream-based makeup (Cosmetic Fasting)—triggers the process of skin desquamation and regeneration within a few days, leading to significant changes.
The face becomes brighter as sunspots and freckles lighten, the skin appears firmer, blackheads and whiteheads diminish, enlarged pores appear smaller, and the texture becomes finer with a velvety appearance.
